In October 2018, five long-haul truck drivers independently reported an object flying low and fast over the Nevada desert just past 2:00 AM. All five described the same thing: a smooth, silver-gray cylinder, 20 to 30 feet long, with no wings, tail, or visible propulsion.

What unnerved them most was the complete absence of sound. The object moved against strong headwinds and didn’t wobble or sway. It glided at high speed, no more than 500 feet above ground, before vanishing into the cloud line without any sonic boom.

Dash cam footage from one truck shows a brief flash of light and shadows cast over the cab, but the object itself only appears in two frames. MUFON investigated but found no scheduled aircraft or weather balloons in the area at that time. Some theorists suggest it was a test drone; others point to the exact shape and motion described in over 40 Cold War-era sightings — suggesting this is not new tech.
