How to Shift Between Dimensions: A Guide to Trans-Dimensional Travel

By: Coal Haemmist

Traveling between dimensions is not necessarily difficult, if you can prepare yourself on this plane and have minimal determination to shift to another dimension. The main skill you will need to master is to allow your physical form to become dislocated in this dimension and that will allow it to “shift” to another dimension for a period of time.  The whole process for a Trans-Dimensional Shift is:  Dislocate, Focus and Suppress, Explore, Follow Pull, and Return.  This article should be read completely and understood before trying to shift to another dimension as this activity can severely strain the traveler’s body and always STAY CALM.

What Makes Your Home Dimension Your Anchor

If you have never shifted to another dimension, to your knowledge, then you are in your anchor dimension, or home dimension.  This is a good and bad thing, when we discuss the “pull” this will make more sense.  Now to understand how your home dimension or plane came about we need to step back and look at what I call the “Great Entity” because it is beyond an observable window of reference.  To make this easier, as this article is for future travelers, I will simplify what is going on.  There exists a formless entity that I believe is omnipresent but does not observe all that is going on in every corner of the multidimensional universe, just as you would not know if one of your cells shed off onto the floor.  This is how you can get away with shifting from your home dimension to another alien dimension.  If you step back and look at yourself in relation to the Great Entity, you will see a miniscule thread attached to your body that traces back to the formless greatness of this multi-dimensional being.  This is the connection that we need to focus on if we want to dislocate ourselves from our home dimension and “shift” to another dimension.

When you have successfully shifted from your home dimension the game is not over.  Once you are traversing the other dimension you will notice that you have an anchor attached to you, and that anchor is your home dimension.  As time goes on this link will fade, but you do not want that you will need this “pull” to return to your home dimension.  The “pull” is, I think, a way for the multidimension to right itself, not to overuse the human cell reference but its like a lung cell ended up in your foot, it would feel out of place.  Hopefully this section will be able to give you an overall look at what we are about to attempt, and you can better see yourself in the big picture.

Preparing for Your Trans-Dimensional Shift

Preparation is key for any trip and very much so for a trans-dimensional trip.  First time of day does not matter, you can shift at any time of day, but make sure you are well rested.  Eat a complete meal and be well hydrated, as some dimensions will act as energy sinks, which is how I refer to dimensions that will absorb all energy that enters them (ahem … the Gray), so do not travel if you are not at peak energy.  Wear normal clothes and a jacket if necessary and wear gloves.  On your first and probably first dozen dimensional shifts you are going to use a “force medium” to act against so you will feel supported in your travel between dimensions.  The best force medium for me is a large boulder as it allows me to feel earthiness when traveling but any sturdy vertical structure that will not give under pressure is perfect, do not use drywall as it can be damaged when you push on it.  You can use the ground or floor, but I do not think this method is optimal as you will find yourself to be on all fours and dislocating yourself is harder with four points of contact on this plane.  Some dimensions have no vertical nonmoving structures, so the ground method is the only option.

Traveling between Dimensions is about knowing your destination

When you want to go on a journey into the other dimensions, there are almost infinite choices, it is immensely helpful to set your mind to what dimension you want to go to, this is what I call your “Focus”.  It is almost impossible to shift if you do not know where you want to go, I am not saying you cannot shift if you do not know your destination, but it is easier if you can picture your destination.  Below are some examples, they do not appear to have occupants, they are framed as colors to help you visualize them:

The Gray

The Gray is a dimension where you will not see much, I never recommend this as a destination for beginners as it is a dimension that is an energy sink.  Other than the misty darkness, cold, and spongy terrain, you will feel very exhausted, and all your movements will feel overly strenuous.  An average person could stay awake in this dimension and travel around, but the journey will be very tiring, and the strain will be somewhat overwhelming.

The Gray realm is the dimension everyone associates with death and where it is believed that spirits roam or rest.  This has not been an observable fact, as this dimension is gray and there is a “mist” constantly enveloping everything.  When you see this “mist” you will know it is not a mist, there is no moisture in this dimension, but very miniscule particles that move in constant patterns without any wind or breeze circulating them.  The best way to describe the smell of this dimension is that of a dry attic, dusty yet very dry.  As to my knowledge of this dimension: it has not been explored in any detail, as traversing is difficult and timely.  When you want to visualize your shift to this dimension, I focus on a land that is dark gray, shifting footing, and misty particles.  When you feel the pull, use the ground as your force medium, it’s squishy but remember not moist, kind of like pushing on a waterbed.

The Alabaster

The Alabaster Dimension is a strange one, the first impression you will get is “wow that is a lot of foam”.  When you arrive in this dimension you will see yellowish foam on white ground with light filtering in above the ground foam, the foam is deeper than my outstretched arms and deeper than 10 feet.  Upon closer inspection you will notice the foam is not soap bubbles but very fine clear balls that are rigid and are static clinging to each other, make sure you are wearing your gloves.  The white ground has the appearance and consistency of chalk or dried spackle and is powdery to the touch.  With closer inspection on the ground, you will notice a fine powder layering the ground, and it appears that the “foam” balls are slowly polishing the ground when they shift around.  Hopefully in the distance you will hear crackling discharges of electricity, this I believe is the constant rubbing of the “foam” balls causing static buildup that eventually discharges.  The smell of this dimension one of electrical discharge, kind of a burning smell.  Lastly for this dimension, I know I wanted to focus on uninhabited dimensions, the Alabaster has curious shadows that frequently eclipse the light above you, I do not know if this proves it is inhabited, and I have never interacted with any entities in this dimension.  When you want to visualize your shift to this dimension, I focus on a land with pale white ground, shifting yellow foam, and the smell of burning electronics.

The Granite

The Granite Dimension is a little overwhelming, as you will find yourself in a labyrinthian dimension with a plethora of “force mediums”.  The Granite has overcast skies with quickly moving clouds, the sky is light grey with streaks of green mixed in.  The land is littered with chasms; some are traversable others are seemingly bottomless.  The land has many boulders strewn about its surface and leaning over edges, beware of falling rocks.  There is the danger of entering this dimension at the bottom of a fissure and not having an obvious route to the surface, if this is the case you should exit the dimension back to your home dimension and find a new location to enter this dimension.  Caves are present in the chasms of granite, but I have never witnessed any occupants, and I have not observed volcanic activity in this dimension.  The smell of this dimension is similar to rusty we metal, kind of acidic as well, like a metallic vinegar.  The whole vibe of Granite is a little depressing, and the fissures look like wrinkles on the land, but this dimension is relatively safe and a good first shift location for beginners as there are not a lot of moving elements on the landscape.  When you want to visualize your shift to this dimension, I focus on a land with fissures spreading into the distance, cloudy skies with green streaks, and if you can imagine it metallic vinegar (put vinegar on a penny, that’s pretty close).

Other Dimensions

Now I have given you three dimensions that are suitable for your first trans-dimensional shifts if you follow precautions these should be rewarding experiences.  There are infinite dimensions and if you feel comfortable try to cautiously explore them.  My method of picturing colors, objects, or smells helps place you in a dimension when you focus, and remember stay calm you can always use the pull to return back to your home dimension.

Dislocating From Your Home Dimension

Now the real work begins, everything up till now is easy and once you get through this part everything will be easy again, I promise.  Now place yourself next to your “force medium” with your arms outstretched towards the medium.  You want your fingertips to just barely be touching the force medium, then point your fingers up with your palms out towards the medium, you should not be touching the medium at this point.  Now breathe and then slowing breathe again.

In this position we will begin to DISLOCATE from this dimension’s mechanism of where you are and what dimension you belong too.  First it may help to close your eyes and try to clear your mind and SUPPRESS any sounds or actions that tie you to this plane because this is not your destination plane.  Now imagine your veins are filling with helium and your body is getting lighter, almost so light you can barely keep your feet on the ground.  Now is the time to FOCUS on the dimension you are traveling to, FOCUS on its traits that describe it, picture it in your mind clearly.  Your veins and head are still filling with helium you are now on your tip toes.  Now visualize that a thread is attached to your head that leads off into Infinium and it doesn’t matter where it goes but you are going to start sending your FOCUS dimension up that thread and you’re going to SUPPRESS anything from your home plane so that  “IT” only knows that you are on your focus plane, and “IT” is not receiving any info from your home plane.  This whole time you are getting lighter and the signal between you and the infinite is being jammed with key traits of your destination dimension.  Now if your eyes are open, you should see waves between you and the force medium, it will look like two stones were thrown into a pool and the ripples are crossing each other.  Now slowly lean forward and brace for impact.  If you were successful and were using the vertical medium technique you would have landed on the ground on all fours in another dimension, now you will appreciate that you wore gloves.  If you were using the ground medium technique, you will find yourself probably on your side with your mouth near the ground, don’t eat anything in another dimension. TRY THIS NOW BEFORE YOUR READ FURTHER.

In all honesty, since you are reading this guide, and are a beginner to inter-dimensional travel you failed and you just double high-fived your focus medium.  That’s fine, please do not lose hope you will get it soon.  Most beginners have trouble with the focus part, where you essentially push your destination plane location up an imaginary thread (it’s not imaginary btw), also beginners have a hard time blocking out their surroundings and some have found noise cancelling headphones to be a helpful accessory.  In all seriousness, almost everyone fails their first trip, we should start a club with shirts of people fondling their force mediums.  The trick is to keep practicing your focus and suppression techniques.  I chose to give you the process first without pushing the focus and suppression practice because I found that most people never get past the practice and thus never try to make the leap.  Now that you have failed, you can practice focus and suppression then immediately make that leap again, don’t get bogged down in the practice, you got this, I believe in you.  The Dislocation process is again: Suppress your own dimension by blocking out sounds, smells and feels, and Focusing on the traits of the dimension you want to travel to.  You must force your focus up the thread and be careful not to get so light-headed that you fall down before you fall through to your chosen dimension.

You Are in an Alien Dimension, Don’t Embarrass Yourself

You made it to another dimension, first and foremost STAY CALM.  First timers at this point freak out and look behind them expecting a door or a blurry window to the other side of their force medium, but there will be nothing.  You have been “placed” into your dimension as you wanted from the dimensional mechanism.  STAY CALM.  Breathe.  Ok once the initial shock is over you are going to feel a “pull” to put it mildly.  This pulling sensation is going to fade over time, but you need this pulling to ease your return to your home dimension.  STAY CALM.  Now look around, take in the sights, most first-time travelers want to return right away after landing in a new dimension, but not you, you are CALM, you perfected your SUPPRESSION and FOCUS training, you earned this.  You can return back to your home dimension anytime by repeating the process for traveling between dimensions, and you should find it so much easier to travel this time, you will not have to suppress the alien dimension at all if you feel the “pull” and just focus on the area you departed from your home dimension and you should return through your original force medium.  Easy Peezy.

When you return, safely and carefully take a seat and let all the forces of the universe calm down a bit.  You may be feeling drained, and that is natural.  If you jumped to another dimension and then immediately jump back to your home dimension because you freaked out, then you are most definitely nauseous, this is also natural.  Now do some breathing and just allow yourself to be slotted back into your home dimension, there may be some slight damage to the thread to the Infinium (the head thread), and you may have a slight headache, but this will pass in about an hour.  You should wait a week before going on your next trip as this is very taxing and maybe you just want to let the multidimensional heat to wear off, “IT” may be watching you for a little bit to see if you get squirrely again.

Conclusion

Well Traveler that is the process, I sometimes wish it was sexier with weird ancient warbling and mystic drawings, but it’s just you fooling the powers that be that you have been misplaced. Trans-dimensional travel requires so much energy, conventionally traveling between dimensions would cost more energy than is available on the planet earth. That is why this method is go great, you are using the trans-dimensional mechanism’s energy to open the door for you, all in the name of keeping the balance. Good Traveling!!
